Reinforced ventilated rear brake disc for Toyota LC-200 DBA42723S
The reinforced brake disc is manufactured by D.B.A. It is used in the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 sports utility vehicle. The unit is effective both on asphalt city streets and in off-road areas.
Improved notches over the entire surface clean the disc from pad dust, eliminate the washed-out effect, provide pad "coke" and high-quality traction.
The ventilated cooling system "Kangaroo Paw ", created by the same D.B.A. company, is used here. It consists of 144 drop-shaped and diamond-shaped partitions equally spaced between the surfaces of the disk.
This design solution guarantees accelerated heat dissipation due to centrifugal force: the rotation of the disk is accompanied by the formation of small air vortices that remove heated air around all the baffles;
During production, carbon (XG-150 ) and TSP technology were added to increase its heat resistance. This has a positive effect on the life of the brake disc.
